Project Type: Ground-up Construction
The project consists of the ground-up development of 14 small loft apartments on a 12,197 SF lot in Downtown Tucson and an adaptive reuse of an old 2,850 SF warehouse building. The design concept is to have one ground-up structure that will have 14 double-height units on the ground floor and an additional 3 units plus an office space and a small coffee shop fronting Stone Avenue in the existing structure.
All of the units in the new structure will have a partial double-height ceiling with an open floor plan concept on the first floor and a loft bedroom upstairs. The office portion will be the headquarters for Central Barrio Development and a local coffee shop will operate the small retail space.
